obnosis.comI think this picture describes the play because Beatrice has always wanted to achieve her dream but, never has yet so when she does it will be that much more satisfying.
In the play Beatrice lets what has happened in her life get to her very badly. She wants to make things better but she lets how she acts to everything stand in the way of this. She doesn't see anything good and i think she takes this out a lot on her children. Tillie however can see good in just about anything. She doesn't let things get to her and she always is able to stand back up after she has been knocked down.
Examples
1. Although Beatrice always puts Tillie down she doesnt let it get to her and still believes in herself.
2. Beatrice lets things get to her and she takes it out on her children constantly by bickering at them and never just appreciating them
